WASHINGTON, April 12 (UPI) -- The "Hamburglar" who made himself a couple of cheeseburgers at a Washington Five Guys is being offered a reason to turn himself in -- free burgers for a year. Security camera footage of the March 18 incident at Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Washington, D.C., shows the man waiting for a delivery driver to leave and then making himself two cheeseburgers and a fountain beverage before leaving with a bottle of water.

Would you turn yourself in?

Probably like one of those bait-and-switch promotions anyway. Dude should check the fine print before making his decision.

Free "burgers for a year" probably just means "one free burger once a week for 52 weeks." Hardly worth it.

Or it could mean, "we will provide you a burger at lunch every day you are incarcerated, which will be a duration of 12 months."

How much trouble could 2 cheeseburgers get you?

A value of what? $3.00?
