"Fastest in-home WiFi" - Except for the fact that it doesn't allow you to change the settings on your router to increase the power nor does it have a wireless signal that doesn't cut out less than 20 feet away.

Hey Comcast stop with the data caps and you MAY save a few customers who are too lazy to switch. But charging someone extra for some made up number you pulled out of your arse will drive them away in droves.

I personally hope the data cap causes them to lose a shite ton of money. It is the one corporate policy that grinds my gears more than most any other.

Oh and c'mon Google keep spreading your fiber service. C'mon...

Anyone else read the fine print for the comcast ad?

It said where their speeds and such were faster came from some study or survey done in 2014 in the months of Sept and Nov. So 2 months in 2014, they had faster speeds but the rest of the time since then, they been pretty slow.

Seems like one wouldn't want to point that out, especially to their own customers.

The apartments that have it now are in Marietta and Duluth. Nobody ITP really has it, they're just hooking up existing apartments w/ fiber.

It will go up to Alpharetta eventually, though.

I have used between 305 - 315 MB of data the last 7 months. They charge me extra every month. It ticks me off because I am already paying Comcast a ton. I hate them.

I expect them to compete and improve their services instead of chicken shite zero-truth advertising. You do business at any cost types are ruining capitalism.

Had xfinity in Houston, LUS Fiber, and Cox in BR. Definitely miss the fiber.

What is false about their advertising? They're trying to operate on a value-added model where they have an inferior product but a broader array of products. If that model fails they'll improve or die.

That seems to be capitalism at its core, no?

Except for the government mandated monopoly, no?

I love that new technology has destroyed their stranglehold on the public and I can't wait to dance on the grave of the entire cable industry.

Completely agree on that front.
