I usually bring the kids and they have fun. All the complete corporate fake enthusiasm from the organizers grates on me but I'll deal with it for my toddlers to smile.

Yeah. I'm beginning to get that vibe. Consider there's zero reason for me to do it without the kids, I'm strongly considering just sitting out and watching TV.
