How do you fire a volunteer?

I make mine do up downs until they can't chop their feet and/or get back up. They are usually balling and snot bubbles are coming out with Gatorade techni-color puke.

It's necessary, because I have parochial school fricktards that think they deserve everything without working for it. Dad's love me...moms, not so much.

I make mine do up downs for shite like:

talking back
not saying yes/no Sir
bad grades
if I see Mom or Dad carrying our helmet and/or pads
disrespect to parent(s)
poor behavior at school/practice
cheap shots on weaker kids
no effort/lazy

I give no fricks!

Middle school coach used to make us carry one of the giant tackling dummies up and down the field, after sprints, until we dropped.
High school coach had permission from my parents to paddle me, which he did, repeatedly. One of those giant wooden paddles with holes drilled in it.

This is pretty much an example of why the US is filling up with a bunch of pussies. Parents defend their kids no matter what. My parents use to tell me that if a teacher calls them, they will always assume their side of the story is true.. since they took the time to actually call them. The several times teachers called home, of course I had my side of the story, but I wasted my breath trying to explain it.

Today, it seems like parents are protecting their kids no matter what. Everyone wants people to think their child is the best child ever.

He used to hand out weekly arse whippings with a weight belt to the kids who were tardy, skipped class, or caused trouble. Needless to say we had a pretty disciplined football team.
Yea, that'll happen when you abuse minors and rule by fear.

doubt that happens as much now, but varsity sports are voluntary, and with parent approval

As a volunteer football coach I'm completely pissed off at this. Football is some young guys only chance to have direct discipline. Quite of few moms come to us asking to discipline their young man, we dont mind giving it to him. By the way, report card day I can't wait for practice

My coach made me run an entire practice with no water break one time, for getting a technical foul.

Mine did the same for using profanity.

The volunteer coach was released because he failed to offer the young man accused of bullying, his participation award for running laps.

My coach treated us to The Marble Slab (ice cream shop) because I punched a guy in the kidney from the opposing team going for a breakaway layup that would have won them the game at the buzzer. They got 4 shots and missed all of them. We won.
