My least favorite are the people that CC the boss when there is zero reason to CC the boss over the issue.

There's one big girl who will just rip everyone in the office and CC the team on shite for no reason.

It is the same thing that goes on daily around here. People act like badasses behind a keyboard but I'd bet the majority would back down in a heartbeat if confronted in real life.

Lately I have been feeling a real hatred of people and I have been more aggressive in real life. The other day a freight driver made a stop at the office and backed up through the customer gate. I was bored so I went out there and just told him, "Hey next time go through that gate for freight". He said I know and started to say something else and I replied "So you just didn't give a frick?" Real awkward afterwards cause he just went about his work and was like Sorry and Thanks when he left.
Usually I wouldn't throw in those last jabs, but lately I have been letting them fly. Haven't had any biters yet though.

I guess I do this, I have trouble saying no to my plant contacts(as a contractor), but then I document the work performed and CC others who are only tertiarily involved. It has gotten me promoted and the dickheads reprimanded for pawning their work off on me.

Best fringe benefit of academia, a bunch of stodgy old men that enjoy a good cigar and hate clear alcohol. Just stay out of certain departments. My office suite - six men ranging from mid 30s to 60s led by a man on the other side of campus. Its heaven, guys.
Now, I came from K-12 admin, where a lot of women are in charge of things. That sucked, badly.
