I’m in sales in south La. With Mardi Gras Tuesday, what cities should I stay away from these two days in order not to caught up stuck in traffic somewhere? New Orleans is the obvious. Anyone else have major parades?

Well there are a few ways around town to avoid the parades, if you stick to Bayou Blue, 311, and MLK.

This year the first 3 Krewes took almost 6 hours to go about 4 1/2 miles.

They had someone that got beat up during the Hercules parade. Then they had a shooting at Aquarius. So lots of New Orleans lite crowd action down the bayou is possible.
