The fake family
Joshua Brassow wanted his joke card to shock relatives he hadn't seen in years
Michigan college student Joshua Brassow, hadn't seen many of his extended family in almost a decade, so the annual Christmas card gave him the chance to have some fun.

Brassow hired a fake family to pose with him, encouraging his faux wife to look as intimidating as possible alongside his two supposed teenage sons. He wanted the picture to look plausible, writing "I want to baffle my aunts, uncles and especially my grandparents."

The photo has now been seen over 1.5 million times on Imgur, though Brassow hopes that his relatives will still be surprised.

So he put it all over the Internet but hopes his relatives haven't seen it?

What's sad about that BBC article is that every humorous card also receives a wave of criticism from the do gooders.

We've become such a smug, humorless world. You could not have the National Lampoon magazine (when it was good) or All in the Family, the Jeffersons, or Sanford and Son in this environment.

Hell, I wonder if you could have the original "Saved by the Bell" in this environment.

People need to lighten the frick up.
