Chick's head/hair smells... Do you still hit?

I was in a situation awhile back where everything else was fine, from a stank perspective, but the chick apparently hadn't washed her hair in awhile. The stink coming off of her head was enough that it killed the mood for me. I ended up telling her what the issue was and she got self conscious about it and left. Her numbers: 6.5 on the face, 8 on the body.
I posed the question to my bros and I got mixed answers on how it should have been handled. So, i figured i'd bring it here to the "experts" for advice. What say you?

I don't believe this for a second considering her hair smelled bad enough for you to comment.
ETA - The more I think about it, how dirty must your hair be in order for it to smell? I've gone 2-3 days without a shower, and I smelled to high heaven, but my hair wasn't the problem.

If she can't keep up the hygiene of her head/hair I'd have concerns about what else may be unkept.

some women use an excuse to not wash their hair bc it allows for healing. then again i wouldnt want to have to wash and dry and whatever they have to do everytime I took a shower. shite would get old fast

Quick hijack story
Met this broad partying over Mardi Gras and took her back to the crib... talked her into jumping in the shower with me and she attempted to get in with me with her socks on and I was like 'wtf?'.... well she comes out and tells me she is a cutter and has cuts up and down her ankles..... I ended up passing on hitting it although I'm a sucker for crazy.

If she were hot I probably would have still hit it.
I took a shower with three chicks (from UT) during spring break one year. We were all drunk as hell. I was too drunk to get hard. I remember trying to chub it up and it wouldn't move. One of the most disappointing moments of my life.
