When you want to unsnarl traffic at a COVID-19 vaccine site, you call in the pros at... Chick-fil-A.

When massive traffic from a software glitch plagued a COVID-19 vaccine site in South Carolina over the weekend, the city's mayor knew exactly who to call when the going got real tough.

Bringing his Chick-fil-A know-how with him, Walkowiak arrived on the scene and quickly reduced the hour-long traffic wait to just 15 minutes, WTVT reports.

It’s almost like people that run private companies are able to do things quicker and more efficiently than people in government.

Weird.

These are the same people that say only the government should be allowed to handle your healthcare.

They have to rely on a fast food joint to bail them out of their incompetence.

So the private sector is more efficient than the Government? This is breaking news.

I'm sure that Biden will come in with an executive order banning this in the future.

Let's be reasonable now. The government has little to no experience with drive thru. It seems reasonable to bring in the experts for that particular thing.

Chick-fil-A drive thru system is a beautiful think to watch. You pull up and can't even get in the parking lot, but you're out in less than five minutes.

I'm assuming there were no vaccines on Sunday and everyone showed up forgetting that fact and were left really disappointed

The MS National Guard drive thru is beating that 15 minutes wait. I took my mom and there was zero wait. Time of arrival to shot in arm was 8 minutes. That was stopping at 3 stations before the shot to verify appt, fill out a form, what to do if you have a reaction, and then shot in arm.

They'll screw up your order and give you the flu vaccine instead.

I love when people tell me that someone "Has been in government for 40 years" like it's an actual accomplishment.

Running a drive-through is one of the primary parts of Chick Fil A's business model. I don't think we should be shocked that a business that does this every day but Sunday would be able to help with this aspect of logistics.
