Would you say that people that tithe 10% to their churches are worse than the Church itself?

No, I'd just say that they were fools.

What's their reason for denying food from your grocery cart?

It's no different in my opinion.

The only issue people have with panhandlers is they make them feel like bad people. Y'all are all grown-ups, I think, you can say No and move on without having a self-deprecating moment.

I hope he is awarded all he asks for, and then they calculate, based on his on daily rate, how much he owes in income taxes plus fees and penalties, and it ends up being more than he was awarded.

Nah, his income would be so low he's somehow end up qualifying for Earned Income Credit and get more money from the government.

That's interesting. I normally will give a sandwich or something light to someone at a busy intersection. Never been turned down.

I made up 15 'care kits' for Christmas and drove around handing them out at intersections. Small backpack, bottles of water, raincoat, assorted snacks, cookies. Each was about $20 max to make up. Made their days.

Reading into this post and your previous post, I highly doubt you've ever spoken to a person in this situation, so excuse me when I say I don't put any value on your opinion into the subject.

I have. What would you like to know?

Are most of them homeless? About half
Do they have somewhere to stay? Yup
Do they change clothes and fake injuries? Yup
Drugs? Mainly alcohol, but some aren't addicted to anything
Do they get in fist fights to decide who can pretend to be handicapped on that corner? Yup
Do they have a handler? A lot of the time

If they don't make money on a corner, they move along (or the handler moves them to a new spot)

They can get free food and everything else if they get an ID. Lots of places give free food. Shelters take in a lot of people, but don't offer primary residences. These people would rather panhandle than work. Probably less than 1% do it against their will
