Charlottesville renames Lee and Jackson parks

Lee Park will be renamed Emancipation Park, and Jackson Park will now be known as Justice Park.

The top picks for Jackson Park include Court Square Park, Courthouse Park, the Commons, and Memory Park.
The top picks for Lee Park include Community Park, Central Park, Market Street Park, and Festival Park.
I'm guessing they floated the neutral "top picks" out there so not as many people would show at the meeting. Then the real choices came to light at voting time.
PS - just to throw in the mix, the mayor is white, the vice mayor is black, the 3 other council members are white.

Doesn't surprise me. I was in Charlottesville recently and the campus makeup struck me as very pro-SJW.
I guess they'll do something with the Monticello next.
