I had a business meeting set up at the whitewater center followed up by a canopy tour and whitewater rafting....just today, they discovered that the water at the whitewater center was tested positive for a brain eating amoeba. To say the least, that's out. Any out of the box recommendations on what to replace this? Group of 9.

Not a big deal. Stick with WC.

The rafting is only a small portion of the experience there. Go there and do the ropes courses and zip lining in addition to the tour and you'll be fine.

Charlotte Motor Speedway has multiple "Driving Experiences". I know Richard Petty has one. The Whitewater Center is cool but I was underwhelmed by the zip lines. The rafting was fun. When is the meeting? I bet they open back up within the week.

Downtown has the most women I've ever seen in a big city. White collar dimes all over the place

Send Congress there. The amoeba will die of starvation.

Every Thursday in the summer, there is live music and a beer garden setup. I doubt anyone was bringing their swimsuits to this business meeting.

ETA:
Just read OP in detail. My answer is have the meeting, don't get in the water, drink some NODA hop, drop, and roll; and listen to live music, if it's late afternoon.

Google local Beers. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and a nice garden. There are at least 6 breweries in town.

Tell me what you like and I THINK I can direct you to some fun.

By and large I have been here 45+ years.
