Most people have known this is true for years. I try to minimize my time on my cell phone. You also should buy a radiation shield for your phone.

I would think this is a non-issue now that people don't have their phone to their ear that much these days.

Here is some history for consideration...
The WHO placed cell phones in same category as DDT...
Mobile phones may increase the risk of developing brain cancer, an influential health organisation has said admitted for the first time.
Last year a landmark IARC study, known as Interphone, disclosed that making calls for more than half an hour a day over 10 years could increase users’ risk of developing gliomas - a type of tumor that starts in the brain or spine - by 40 per cent.
They set off Geiger counter - do you want it touching you?
Or near an infants skull - as a play-toy?
Worth It?? haha... wow...
Try to grow a plant near the cell phone you lay your head by every night....
Wonder why server rooms cant be a healthy environment ...
Its coming AGAIN up because it costing health Insurance providers $$$
Check the increased rate of brain tumors.

It's "Geiger" and yet, it is capitalized b/c it is named after someone.
And fwiw one will go off just from background radiation. Try holding one up to a banana and you'll be surprised - bananas have high levels of postassium and one of the isotopes is slightly radioactive.
