No matter what.. anytime I have to go to one of these shitholes 1-2 hours.

Had to get my phone number changed to a local number / 1 hr 45 minutes

In the year 2024 with flying food deliveries, AI, Robots, etc, you’d think the mobile carriers would figure out a way to speed up their fricking process.

They want you to be tempted by all the bling on the shelves while you wait for their slow arse service.

Verizon has company-owned stores and also franchise outlets.

Avoid the franchise outlets.

It's the people who work there that make it so inefficient. No better than a retail employee at a mall.

Went to Verizon a few months back to combine my wife's account with mine and they couldn't even do it in store. That's all I got.

Many of them are contract stores. They make money if you buy stuff.

Why is there ever a need to go into a store? Everything can be done online.

frick AT&T. If the only fricking you get from having to deal with AT&T is an annoying wait time you should count yourself as fortunate.

I wanted to move my line from a shared plan to my own. Needless to say, it’s still on the shared plan. The idiot kept pushing me to get a new number instead and make it a business line, as well as supposedly change my number over to my own line. It was a simple question. The lowest denominator works in those places.

Not only that. If you go into an ATT store they will straight lie to your face if it means it would sell you a product.

This is why I switched to an inexpensive MVNO.

Yeah there’s no brick-and-mortar location but the service is terrible anyway, so why pay for that overhead?
