Cats are better pets than dogs

Cats are cheap
you can go on vacation without boarding a cat
They won't run away
you don't have to take them on walks
You don't have to clean up poop in your yard
kill mice
Can beat up dogs
don't need baths
don't need anal glands cleaned
Cheaper to feed
Don't need a fence
Don't have to let them outside to go to the bathroom every couple hours including during the night
Dogs smell

Cats may be better pets, but dogs will always be loyal to you no matter what.
You can lock your wife and pet dog in the trunk of your car and leave them in there for two hours. Open the trunk and the wife will be pissed but the dog will be happy to see you

yes on paper they are.
i love both my cats and dogs and probably reserve my favorite spot for my tiny lil cat.
but few things compare to the joy of my goofy arse 80lb dog just going ape shite all just because i came home.
so, instead of one is better than the other, both are just great!

Also, FYI cats tend to eat on their deceased owners after only a few days when left in same house unattended. Dogs won’t do that.

Yes they will.
I was the county coroner for a few years and baw up and died (natural causes) at his house and forgot to feed his dog.
Wasn’t found for a couple days- and when I examined the deceased baw, ole dog had eaten his twig and berries.

My lab can hold it all day easily. Our Boykin can too, but she wants to go at odd hours when my wife is home. When it’s just me, she waits on me to take her. They train you as much as you train them if you let them.

Put your dog on a raw meat diet. Their poop turns chalky white due to the bone calcium, and it disintegrates within a day or two.
