Long story short, Shreveport baw rolls up to McDonalds and sits in line for awhile and watches several cars drive off after waiting awhile. He goes up to the window to see if anything is wrong and finds the doors locked with the employees sleeping...all 5 of them.

quote:

Dear McDonalds, I'm inquiring the possibility to work night shift at the Mansfield road location in Shreveport, LA. I would be highly beneficial to employee exceeding all expectations and duties. I will excessively contribute to the touchstone of excellence and superior work ethics required. My prominent character traits include: dependable, punctual, versatile, disciplined, and trustworthy. My greatest is alertness always being conscious of my environment. This is impossible to obtain without proper sleep. Which is obviously encouraged. A major contribution to my success, with the golden arch, would be unyielding focus and a clear visual sense of customer satisfaction. I've worked hard my whole life at sleeping and believe I would be a fundamental asset to this team. It's very transparent on why there was such an influential stand on blessing these highly motivated workers an increase in wages. It would be nothing short of a honor to be simply considered for employment. Thanks in advance for the opportunity to be utilized and valued throughout the community.

After watching three other cars pull off this morning. I became curious. I thought maybe something was wrong inside and they might be in danger. I looked inside after seeing the drive thru open 24hrs sign was lit up. Five employees asleep in the dinning area with the doors locked. I knocked on the window only for them to respond with a look as if I'm an idiot for even thinking they are going to serve breakfast. Some with no acknowledgement of my present. This is absolutely pathetic. There is no valid explanation for this. There will be no biscuits for us this morning

Some will see lazy employees sleeping on the job

Others will see workers who are asleep because they worked the night shift at McDonalds after working the day shift at some other establishment just to make ends meet, and therefore, this is evidence of the need to raise minimum wage.
