This past Black Friday, the so-called "party game for horrible people" Cards Against Humanity had a hilariously bizarre deal: Give them $5 and get absolutely nothing in return.
In a blog post today, Cards Against Humanity's founders revealed that this stunt made the company $71,145, with 11,248 giving $5, and 1,119 people giving more than that. One guy even gave $100.

All for literally nothing

Awesome for them. But what is wrong with people?

Even better that they list out what the employees bought

It's basically a fundraiser for the company.

And I'd probably give my $5 to them before I would some of the ridiculous shite people ask for on GoFundMe accounts.

It is similar to giving money to Wikipedia.

Having played the game a few times, I wouldn't have any issues with giving them $5 for nothing. It is a great game.

I've never played. Is the game free or something? I could have sworn it was something you bought in stores...?

I give money to Reddit and NPR since I use them and they're free, but I don't think I'd give money to a profitable company whose game I purchased with money.

Makes me want to set up a gofundme with the purpose of "I just feel like getting free money"

Heck, even if you score $5K or so, that's still cool to have.
