I have tried everything, new fence, gate. I am constantly plugging holes where I find she is getting out. She is a schnauzer and besides getting out she is a great dog. I'm afraid she is going to get run over. Anyone else ever have issues with a dog like this? It is very much straining my relationship with her. Also I realize my screen name makes this a little peculiar

This would pretty much sort the problem out anyway.

She's crawling under the fence?

Try a kennel run. Better for a dog than an entire backyard anyway.

Put an underground electric fence a couple feet from your existing fence.

tire the dog out before putting in the yard and/or block the ground in front of fence with stones/bricks

I've got a 10x30' run for my dogs with this kind of 4" x4" hog panels on the bottom hidden with dirt. They don't even try digging anymore.

Radius collar
My 2 dogs didn't go within a foot of the one after getting zapped once

My yard is two acres. I do have one someone gave me but the collar didn't work and a replacement collar is like $175, I am at the point where if she doesn't want to hang around, then bye Felicia, her name is Gloria but she'll get the point.

We ran an electric pet wire inside the fence. We unplugged it after a week. The dog learned quick.

For hole digging in the yard. Throw the dog's turds into the hole. That will end that.

A dog will destroy a back yard out of boredom. Put it in a kennel run and they remain calm because it resembles more of a den. Trust me

Have you ever considered the dog doesn't like you? It isn't meant to be if they keep running off.
