Meh

the dude in vietnam, was sniping charlie, with a freaking browning machine gun, with the barrel taped, so he didn't burn his flesh off.

Sniping with high powered sniper rifle/equipment<<<<<<<< Browning machine gun snipes, and had world record.

This is what he was sniping and getting record kills with:

1 MOA is approximately 40 inches at that distance. So a 6' human would be approximately as easy to see as a 2" figure at 100 yards.

Guy was a f'in beast.

To think he could take that machine gun off it's stand, take muzzle off, tape barrel to grab and snipe with, is amazing.

At a 975m (~40%) longer than the previous record, I'm pretty confident saying that Canuck is lying his arse off

I wouldnt say he lied. He got extremely lucky though. A 50 cal is a 2.5 moa gun. That comes out to about 65" at that distance. Even if you stuck the gun in a vice (the accuracy even at 1 moa, which it isnt) might not hit 36" 3 consecutive times.

To fire one shot off and get a kill at that distance is luck unless you have a group of men standing in a circle. The guys in the video I posted, shot at 4200 yards. It took them 17 shots to hit a 36" target with 375 cheytac. One shot, one kill at that distance is nothing but pure luck if it was only one enemy soldier.
