I bought a drill at a big box store this weekend, self checked out and didn't even pay attention to the packaging still having the sensor/alarm on it. When I went out the door the closet clerk waved me on. Got home and saw it, cut it off with wire cutters, which immediately cause the high pitched obnoxious alarm to go off. I quickly put it in a bucket of water and instantly the alarm was dead. Considered going back and spilling some water on other alarms and walking out with them, but I'd never do that.
BTW- Anyone want to buy some new Dewalt drills cheap, still in box, box slightly damaged.
