My Lab does not react to any mirror image and does not seem to notice anything on TV. I have friends who have Dogs that do watch TV and their dogs react to what they see.

I guess mine is happy reading and working Sudoku puzzles.

My lab watches animal planet. Dude loves him some planet earth also was high as a kite and talked the direct TV lady into a 6 month trial of dog TV for him too. He seemed to enjoy that too

Being able to recognize yourself in a reflection is a pretty higher order intelligence thing, from what I understand.
