I get my money's worth of my prime membership.

My husband and I get at least 1 package a week from Amazon. With 3 distribution centers in the PHX area...anything I order is at my doorstop usually the next day with no shipping costs saving us several hundred dollars a year in shipping(Thanks Prime!). I enjoy free books on my Kindle every month(Thanks Prime!). I can have groceries delivered to my door within an hour or two of placing my order for a $5 fee (Thanks Prime!). I enjoy streaming numerous shows and movies for free on my Amazon app (Thanks Prime!).

Amazon is overpriced. I stock up when grocery stores have big sales on my favorite items and anything i can find on Amazon I find cheaper on eBay usually from the same "estore" that's on Amazon but it's cheaper and no sales tax and the product ships hella fast.

I tend to agree.

Same price, no customer service, shipping that takes 2x or 3x as long. It's heaven.

It's not a feature I use really that often. But it's nice to have it available. For example....if you are home sick and miserable....instead of having to go to store all sick and miserable, you can just make a few clicks on your laptop and have someone deliver items to you. That convenience is well worth $5 if you are home alone with a high fever and flu symptoms.
