Can someone post studies that show police are more brutal towards blacks than whites?

I can't remember where I saw it, but a black Ivy league professor did a study on this and said the media lies about it. Said whites are more likely to get beat up/ shot by police, than blacks.

Define "more brutal".
You can 't go with "how many are arrested", "how many more are pulled over", or "how many more were "targeted"".
None of those have anything to do with brutality.

I believe it was in the Washington Post, a super liberal rag.
He said he wanted to exactly see how bad Blacks were targeted, and found out the whole, "Cops Killing Us" was a fraud.

Yea, that's the one I'm thinking of. He went in to prove that blacks were targeted more and came out with a different conclusion that the BLM folk didn't like.

Not completely true.
The study cites evidence of taste-based (individual) discrimination in the use of non-lethal force but not systemic discrimination. The study also finds no evidence of discrimination in the use of the lethal force:

I thought it said that minorities were roughed up more but whites were killed slightly more.
