Can personal injury lawyers buy insurance?

I'm guessing they can but it seems like an insurance company wouldn't want to be in the position of insuring them. Maybe they have to pay higher rates? Is it even legal to discriminate against lawyers?

What kind of insurance? Car insurance? Health insurance? Malpractice? Workers Comp? What a vague question.

Of course, I'm sure they all have some kind of E&O insurance.

Car insurance. Wouldn't it be some kind of conflict of interest if you currently have 10 lawsuits against that company?

I'm self insured. Pay a firm to handle my claims.

They all have doctors too, even though they sue doctors. What's up with that?

I would imagine they wouldn’t go to a doctor they have sued though. But with car insurance I’d guess there’s nobody they haven’t sued.

Yes, they’re required by law to carry auto insurance in LA.
