They have houses in Arkansas that aren't cabins?

Go 10 minutes down the road and rent a houseboat on Lake Ouachita.

Riley Station

I stayed here after canoeing the Buffalo for 4 days.
They had bears up there. Bears.

You could rent anything from a Yurt to a luxury cabin at Degray Lake State Park

We went up a few months ago and stayed in Ponca at these cabins

Buffalo River Outdoor Center

we canoed one day, can rent everything you need from them. will have to talk to them ahead of time to figure out water level and what part of the river is open for canoeing. Also they have a lot of hiking trails and stuff which are really cool. We saw a lot of elk a couple hundred yards away from the actual main lodge where one of the landings is. We had a great time, already planning our trip again for next year

I have stayed at Little Switzerland, maybe 1 mile outside Jasper and right near the Buffalo. I'm sure I will be staying there next year also for annual float trip.
