the one time i bought one, it was on a used vehicle and it was only 1200 dollars

never paid amything close to that kind of money for extended warranty and I get the high tech package

That would definitely be worth it. The F&I guy was adding ~$120/ month to my note for 3 years and that would cover me for 5 years. I just dont believe in extended warranties.
