Wooden shed with Metal roof
slab in place with anchor bolts
11' X 18'
Normal 1 pitch roof
8 foot walls
loft
wooden doors
two windows

Here is the question. How many hours to build? One carpenter and one helper.

An actual carpenter who knows what he's doing and has a helper could knock it out in a few hours I'd think, once he gets the materials. Like 5 hours.

25hrs

11x18 is a little more than a "garden shed" imo.

in fact thats a pretty good sized shed. almost bordering on "shop"

He should make it 12x 16

11x18 you will be wasting plywood.

Was quoted 56hours. That seems a bit high.

That's 2 guys 3 days. I mean, if that's turn-key that's pretty damn good.

I guess I was way off. I'm neither a carpenter, nor a gardener, and I didn't stay at a holiday inn last night.

What siding? is 56 hrs for both helper and main guy?

when I said 25hrs I meant 25hrs working side by side.

so 50hrs for both which is probably a bit high.

Are the doors needing to be build out of same siding material? Barn door style?

Same type of wood you see on well bult deliverable sheds. not living in it....just storing lawn mower and some tools.

Again, is this turnkey or will you have work to do when they leave? Paint, caulk, etc?
