At a recent Bruce Springsteen concert in Los Angeles, 9-year-old Xabi Glovsky held up a sign in the audience that read: "BRUCE, I WILL BE LATE TO SCHOOL TOMORROW. PLEASE SIGN MY NOTE. :)" Shockingly, this caught The Boss' attention. According to Xavi's dad, the Glovskys were invited backstage and Springsteen met with young Xavi first after the show, before a line of waiting celebrities. And Springsteen did something amazing. He wrote a tardy slip.

DEAR MRS. JACKSON, XAVI HAS BEEN OUT VERY LATE ROCKING AND ROLLING. PLEASE EXCUSE HIM IF HE IS TARDY!

I am not a huge Springsteen fan, but I fail to see the problem with a 9 year old doing this.

An On Fire 9 year old who was Born in the USA and probably Tougher Than the Rest. In about 10 years, he'll be Dancin in the Dark with all the milfs (gilfs) trying to recreate their Glory Days.

There isn't a problem with him being a Springsteen fan.

It's just odd for a child that age to have that sort of musical taste. I shake my head in disgust at the shite I listened to before puberty.
