Let's hear your best encounters with the transactions when you post something on craigslist. I have one now that is having to apply for a loan for a $6,000 vehicle. I'm about to tell him cash or no deal.

It would be silly to turn that down unless you have somebody else ready with cash.
My only dealing with CL was buying something like 235 Yo Gabba Gabba videos from some lady who wanted $18 for them. I met her at a Starbucks and gave her a $20 and she starts scrounging for change. Acted like I changed her life letting her keep the extra $2. I already felt dirty...like I had already ripped her off.

You do realize that if/when his bank approves him for a loan they can give him cash or cashier's check to give to you, right?

I care when I had to bring the vehicle to his bank for inspection. Now they want to see it running and I have to leave work and go start it up for the bank. If he would have paid cash, no bank inspections.
