Bowe Bergdahl will be prosecuted for Desertion

Max penalty for desertion while in a combat zone is death. White House has been stonewalling Army decision to charge for 3 weeks now. What do you guys think? Is this justified?

Good. He probably won't wnd up with death, but this has been a long time coming. If the rumors of him collaborating with Talis are true, then he should be executed by firing squad

Good. I was deployed when this guy went missing. He literally walked off the compound into Afghanistan alone. If that isn't the definition of desertion idk what is.

Will never happen this day and age.
There are several other soldiers that have stated Bergdahl willingly left his post and that it directly resulted in the deaths of some of those sent to find him.
IMO he should die... but he won't.

When all his peers, fellow soldiers, all of them, state he deserted his post, that is all I need. I do not need a bunch of attys or politicians to tell me what happened. And Obama will never permit him to be executed. Good for the Army. This comes as a big surprise to many, general consensus being that the White House would push it aside long enough till it went away.
