Why do people have to fight police? She was probably being mouthy with them so they decided to hold her vehicle up. She was just asked nicely to move out the way and she was one of the typical ones that film and try to spark things. I'm not a fan of cops but you're just asking for it. I thought it was hilarious btw

They said she was acting nervous which is what they look for and that is justification for detainment. She's also deflecting. they should never have touched her based on what we saw but whether people like it or not, her detainment is legal.

Not really. BP's authority is to determine immigration status. Once that is satisfied, they are done. Not to mention that Supreme Court just ruled on this very issue. Police can't detain you to "wait on a dog" in order to try to justify a warrantless search.

That's not their only job, drug smuggling is a big part of their job. This girl probably wasn't smuggling drugs but she was a bitch and although it's not a crime, the cops use their power to their advantage to tase this bitch. You miss the point. It doesn't have anything to do with what is or isn't "their job". It has to do with their legal authority to detain and search at a traffic checkpoint. Their authority at a checkpoint derives from immigration law and that wasn't what they were doing.
You need more than "acting nervous" to get to what they were doing. Again, zero doubt that she is a full on bitch but they should have told her to leave if she wanted to or gone ahead with a search if the facts justified it. They didn't handle it well at all.
