It has more to do with how blacks were depicted in media back in the 40s and 50s in relation

But if you have black people or whites in black face shucking and jiving in movies while holding a chicken leg it becomes offensive

Whites back then really didn't need to know the secret because blacks were still cooking for them as servants for the most part.

They know what the frick is up. They like to play stupid like they don't know what's up.

Fact: The watermelon stereotype came from Thomas Steal Other People's Ideas and Pass them as his Own Edison. He recorded to black males eating watermelon during a contest and put it out to the media and the media ran with it like blacks are devote watermelon eaters.

I dont think it is this as much as indifference. Being offended is an emotional weakness and is the probelm of the person being offended.

The same works today. Only show blacks on the news, in movies and on t.v. committing violent crimes, being unintelligent and dimwitted and that stereotype sticks. For every Fresh Prince show that showed blacks in a positive light, you had 50 depiction in media showing us in a negative light. Not to mention music and how it has really help make the perception even more negative.

The evening news? Do you think that there is a conspiracy to show more black crime on the news than White crime. If you believe this than you must believe that crime stats are a conspiracy too.

No, it is not letting some blatantly or indirectly insult you.

Sticks and stones. Insults dont do anything to take away a persons rights. If a person is secure than insults dont phase them. It is the insecure people that crumble when confronted with words.

I don't give a shite what it is. Just know that I know that you know why pale people try to pass this off as if it was by happenstance.

I am sure that being offended is not an emotional weakness. You would not have any moral if you were to see some old lady getting her arse beat in the street and not be mad or offended by that act. To disconnect emotionally from situations is more of an animalistic/savage trait.
