Like raising taxes on business?

The fees are the extra cost it is of doing business in a regulated litigious society. They are splitting it up more as a marketing tool so to the dummies it doesn’t look like that good or service doubled in price.

honestly, a TON of frickery has emerged in capitalism. these fees have become de rigeur across all sorts of businesses. we have too many lawyers and now too many bored MBAs

disney is the latest. they used to shuttle people for free and now it's a charge. this after the exorbitant price it takes to get into the place, much less eat. oh, and Genie+, Lightning Lane, VIP... the frickery is insane relative to what it was.

Don't blame Disney, blame people who continue to pay.

And this is what I don't understand. From my understanding Disney is always packed, but I have never once heard someone say "We went to Disney World and had a really good time". Its always the same complaints "Everything is so expensive" "The lines are so long" "We were in line for 20 mins and our child decides he has to use the restroom so we have to get out of line...". "It was crowded".

But Disney has sold everyone on the idea Disney world is somewhere you must bring your kids at least once. And as long as that continues they will eventually start charging people for air if they pay for it.

with the divorce rate what it is…..what a total rip off.

Divorce rates are about as low as they have ever been. Certainly the lowest in the last 50 years.

Higher education. The majority of money spent on it is for people that never use a degree and many don’t even get one. The way to handle the student loan debt issue to to stop the outrageous rising costs of higher education.

ATM fees at the t!tty bar (or so I've been told).

Drinks for the dancers at the t!tty bar (so I've been told).

Tipping the derelict that hands out towels, cologne, etc in the restroom at the t!tty bar. (so I've been told).

Dances in the champagne room at the t!tty bar (so I've been told).

Parking spaces take up municipal square footage that might otherwise generate tax revenue. Parking fees also discourage someone just leaving their vehicle in a spot for extended periods of time, which would be generally inconvenient for everyone.
