I tried to get back on Paxil last summer and it was just awful. I have never been more tired and depressed. I just laid around the house all day with absolutely no motivation to do a single thing until well into the evening.

When I took it before, many years ago, I don't remember those same problems. I do remember the problems when I came off of it but it wasn't too bad, it was just these really bad jolts that came out of nowhere. Almost as if I was suddenly shocked by something. The whole world would shake for a second and then it was back to normal. It didn't last too long and it wouldn't happen if I weaned myself off.

I ended up just not taking anything for anxiety and get valium from a friend for when I really need it. I don't take it often, at all, because it makes me sleepy. I think it is better than taking something every single day and since I don't have issues abusing it, I will stick with it as long as my friend can give me the extras. Illegal...don't care.

Alternative to work into your life

Deep slow breathing 5 minutes before meals.

Regarding whatever you deal with:
Spend two full minutes in Mystery. If anything comes to mind or feeling, say: i do not know what anything is.

Do both a couple times a day.

And last and best, smile to all your body part. As if you can send smile to your heart or head. Smiling to head is powerful. Play with it every day a few minutes. Very calming. If you make no lifestyle changes you are stuck with external interventions like paxil or other named choices in thread. Take charge.

Yea that was one of the positives (unless I could not finish which was rare.) One thing that sucked was it was hard to catch a buzz on alcohol.

Dude I was as calm as a Hindu cow when my panic attacks would come on. That is what most people dont understand about certain forms of anxiety and panic disorder. Its not always about stress or worry.
