Hot water? Cold water? Salt? Rubbing alcohol?

Any suggestions?

Let the vehicle warm up some and use an ice scraper or a credit card to scrape it off.

Um, I turn the heat on and scrape with my library card. Works perfectly fine.

Boil water as hot as you can get it then immediately pour it onto the frozen windshield and back glass. You’ll thank me later.

It may not be great for rubber / plastic with heavy use, but I've always used a squirt bottle with diluted alcohol. Cuts through the ice like butter.

Heat and an ice scraper. If it has to be finished RIGHT NOW, scrape off everything you can and then get after it with a hair dryer.

I use a plastic dust pan. Don’t use hot water or anything metal

Probably the boldest strategy out of all of these.

Hot water?
If you want a cracked windshield

Cold water?
Probably just going to turn into more ice

Salt?
I wouldn’t, just out of concern the salt would get into places and cause corrosion

Just run the engine for a few minutes til it warms up enough for the defroster to do its thing. Once the defroster starts to loosen the ice up, it should scrape right off…or you can wait a few more minutes for the defroster to melt it all

I have decided you have taken up with the method of making up stupid questions or statements to get responses.

When people do it on things like YouTube or tiktok, etc to get more views and generate more money, it's one thing. But for you its just for attention, and that's sad.
