Best route from central MS back to Gonzales area

Need to get back and unsure about Waze and closure maps. Just need best route coming down 55. Was hoping to go all the way to 10 and take airline in? Any tips appreciated. TIA

To Baton Rouge, go to Liberty, MS and then South. Not sure how you can get into Gonzales from there though.

Airline is backed up bad from Hwy 73 in Prairieville toward Baton Rouge. Best bet would be to take 55 to 12 to Baton Rouge. Exit on Airline off of 12 and it should be smooth sailing to Gonzales.
