Got a pair of Bauers when I used to play roller hockey in high school. They were great. If you see a pair of blades that have ratchets on them, just stop. Get some with laces.

Whatever brand is available Saturday morning at every garage sale in town. They are being sold by other people who, a year ago, were thinking just like you are today and every pair is in "like new" condition.
