AYCE seafood buffet on Johnson St that closed down probably 10 yrs ago
over 50 buffet items as I ate my weight in frog legs, grilled quail, and soft shell crab
growing up in NOLA, I will always miss Manuel's hot tamales wrapped in the newspaper and full of grease

I don't remember the K&B soda fountain but I definitely remember K&B.
There were two here that we, well my sister and I along with my parents, went to when we were kids.
One of them was in the mall. That is now some mattress store and the other is a rite aid pharmacy.
I did go into that one and got a powerade. They still have the funny white and black tile on the floor.
The one place I miss, aside from the arcade in the mall, was a place called the Orange Bowl, in the Prien Lake Mall. They had really good pizza.
There was a place called Morrow's Nut House that was a little island store, that sold all kinds of different nuts. Cashews, peanuts, etc. It in between the Land of Oz arcade and Kay-Bee toys.
And the fun colored lights in the fountain that was in front of the White House Dept. Store.
Good times.
