Best place to park downtown? Are you a fan of incomplete sentences and thoughts? Should I have left the Jambalaya Jam open ended for those posters out of town and have no clue what the jambalaya jam is and may have been curious to where it was?

Maybe you should write a book: Proper posting etiquette on the OT lounge.

You're probably the best poster this site has ever seen. Just yesterday I was having some cocktails with georgethegreek and the question came up...who is the best poster on TD? After a brief discussion we both agreed it was Artie Rome. We pulled up your posting history and spent the next several hours in amazement. Reading your posts is like having Mila Kunis blow you while feeding your face with $500 chocolates and scratching your back, simultaneously.

Your question is very stupid and your reply is even worse. Since jambalaya jam is downtown, yes. Parking downtown would be your best option. With that being said, I hope your car breaks down on the way there.

I mean, downtown BR is like 8 blocks. I thought he was asking whether he should park in Tigerland and bus it downtown. Because you know. Jambalaya Jam.

Park on Sherwood and take the bus.

Parking downtown is for suckers.

Because there is just one generic spot to park downtown, I forget BR is void of parking garages, paid parking lots, and metered parking spots along the web of one way streets. Me, who has never been to the jambalaya jam, should just automatically know what areas are shut down, what areas are easily accessible when arriving and what areas are equally accessible when it's time to leave.

I'll just pull up and park downtown, thanks for the advice.

The River Center parking garage is usually open and no charge on weekends. It's only a few blocks to North Street.

The many State or LA parking garages should also be open.

There's a parking garage on 3rd street that you may be able to park in. I'd probably just park at the river center and walk, though.

I see it takes place on North Blvd. Parking downtown is definitely the way to go if you don't want to take the shuttle.
