The fiancé is looking at some new living room furniture and Jesus everything she shows me is super high. We have looked at rooms to go, Ashley furniture, and world market. What are some other "cheaper" places to look?

My only advice is to not smoke so much damn weed before going furniture shopping. Godspeed.

Look online and research, Look for local deals. indulge in the ways of home appliance knowledge or pay dearly for it.

You just listed the cheapest places that the poors shop at. Garage sales?

Realistically I used to like vwatts out in walker/Livingston for decent deals.

Those places are pretty cheap.

There is a shitty place off of Severn on I-10 service road in Metairie. It's a real shite hole. You'll love it.

Because it's isn't an investment, it's an expense of living.

If your first thought while furniture shopping is depreciation then you need help.

Underwear loses 99% of its value as soon as you leave the store.

I have a 4 and 2 yr old. All of my living room furniture for our new home is coming from rooms to go and IKEA. When it's ruined in a few yrs I'll just buy new shite.
