Best Mosquito Abatement System in BR for home

Looking for a recommendation. Looking for something that keeps the bugs out, but at the same time won’t give everyone cancer.
Anyone have success with a system they’ve had installed?

Call the City Parish and they will come out and treat your yard for free. It’s in your taxes but no one uses it.

2 oz of garlic pest repellent off amazon
Mix with 1 gallon of water and spray liberally in your yard, shrubs and any brick or concrete.
All of the home spraying companies spray this and are not worth the money.

Any do it yourself pest control store. It acts as a sticker that keeps the pesticide on materials for longer periods of time.
Talstar kills everything.

I used mosquito authority but then they went up on prices. I hear mosquito joe is good.

We used mosquito magnet for years. I liked it. It floated away and has not been replaced yet.

Mosquito Authority is around $69 every 21 days. It is fully guaranteed. If you see mosquitoes between those 21 days, they'll come back and spray on their dime. I think they'll do a 10% discount if you sign up for the year. No contracts. Can cancel anytime.

In Ascension they will come out upon-request. I had them spraying at my mom's every 2-3 weeks last year. Easy and "free" (already paid for might as well use it!)

You can do the same in BR but think about where mosquito abatement is on the budget for the parish....very low so they are going to use the lowest grade possible stuff which will last a day or 2 if that and then you will have the same issue. You may pay for it, but hiring a company to spray is the only way to ensure that your entire property has a barrier around it because you know they are using top of the line stuff. I say around your entire property as mister systems, bug zappers, etc are only good for the area you have them not your entire yard.
