Idk what you guys do in your boxers, but I have pairs that I have had for at least 6 years from American Eagle, Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, and offbrands and they all are still just like new.

I've got them all. Calvin Klein,Exofficio,Under Armor,Nike.
Recently picked up some Hanes with the untagged soft tops at Target the other day.
Ohh my God they are so awesome.
My issue with all of the other brands is the elastic waist band. They cause me to get ingrown hairs because i shave .

Duluth Trading Company makes a really high quality and comfortable pair. You can usually catch them on sale for around $20. I have bought about 25 over the past three years. The three year old pairs still look good as new.
