Best irons for mid-handicap?

I've been playing some old Lynx Black Cats for years, and I'm looking to upgrade.
Some models I'm looking at:
Titleist AP2's
TaylorMade RSi1's
Mizuno MP-59's
Callaway Apex
Any testimonials on these or other models?

Ping S55 are a similar model to those you listed. I love mine, compact but still forgiving enough. And even though they are cast they feel good on impact, plus they shouldn't wear out as fast as something forged like AP2s

I'm an 8.1 and play Adams xtd's. Absolutely love them and they are very inexpensive

Get fitted. Mizuno starts with finding your swing speed, tempo, lie etc. Then their app recommends the top three shafts for you. Then you can try the different club heads. If you go to a demo day they will usually offer you 10% off if you buy that day. I think all those clubs you listed are price controlled by the manufacturer. So you're probably not going to find any deals unless you buy used. Also Mizuno offers free shaft upgrades. On TaylorMade. If you wait 6 months you can prolly get them for half price.

RSi1 are huge, MP59 is the most blade like out of them.
MP15's, 850 forged, MP54
RSi2 or TP's
AP2
S55/i25
Srixon Z545 or 745

Agree on jpx's and hit rsi's as well but compared to xtds they were so similar price was deciding factor

Lynx Black Cats.
Wow...not knocking the OP, but that brings me back about 10-15 years. I had a set myself. They were cool looking clubs back in the day.

I have G20s 4-W. They are great clubs. I'm a 13 HC.

Mizuno MP-64s. I'm playing at +7 right now and I can hit them well whether I am playing often or not. I agree with the previous poster who recommended you get fitted. If I'm not mistaken these are the same type Adam Scott was using when he first started out (and before his titleist endorsement).

Not these. I'd choose the AP1's if I were you.

+7????
If a +4 can get three aces in a single round...how many can you post?
You and Kim Jong would be a great match.

Unless you are a single digit handicapper don't buy player's irons which is all the clubs you have listed. Like any player you will have good and bad days with your ball striking, on your bad days you will be miserable playing with some muscle back irons. Go get yourself some nice cavity backs.
