Best internet provider in Lake Charles

Anyone in the Lake Charles area have anyone other than century link. I'm kicking them out of the door. I want the best internet I can get because my company pays for it. Who should I go with? Also I'm not sure the difference between fiber and cable internet.

Suddenlink is the only game in town if you want true broadband. We have 50 Mbps at our office and I have 200 Mbps at my house.

Also if you're not a big cable guy who wants 1,000 channels, I'd suggest getting the most expensive internet Suddenlink has to offer and using a streaming service like PSVue for only like $35/month
