depends on what your priorities and growing conditions are...

if you are after straight up beauty and comfort on your bare feet...zoyza...

if you are after grass that looks good, but grows slowly so you don't have to mow too much....centipede...

if you are after a robust grass that will cover the yard, choke out weeds quickly, and tolerate a partial shade....st augustine...
