Best full sized car for under 35k?

Need a decent sized back seat, good gas mileage and a smooth quiet ride.

Camry would be my choice in that segment. Accord just worries me with paint quality.

I think both of those are mid sized.

We have an Accord. The paint quality and road noise are annoying. It's roomy, but I think the Impala and Avalon are bigger.

I'd say Buick LaCrosse, Lexus ES, or Lincoln Continental, but those are more than $35k.

Base Avalon
Loaded Accord if you can live with a smaller back seat.

Nothing domestic, unless you are going to keep it less than 4 years and run it less than 125k.

An Avalon fits every description you were asking for. Just throw in the towel and give it up. They are on the better cars you can ask for.
