Moving to BR without a job lined up is bad form. I know there's news stories about how it's raining money and jobs but the truth is that there's still competition for those jobs. Unfortunately, a lot of employers in the area are not great to work for but it's all relative to where you are coming from. High turnover is a red flag.

Community Coffee is a good employer, IMO.

Turner, Exxon, IBM, state government, LSU, Lady of the Lake hospital, oshner, lsu health, cajun constructors, cbi, ect. There's plenty of opportunities in this town.
