It's a beer from the Israel area. You've probably never heard of it.

Agreed, not well known and very good. Also, ask for a Barney. It's a mix of purple haze and andy gator. Tasty.

Not a beer that "no one knows about", but I'm digging Little Sumpin' Sumpin' by Lagunitas

Lagunitas - My favorite brewery. Can't find it in Shreveport so I stock up when I go out of town.

Everyone knows about this beer. Its extremely common. So you get a downvote

Unless you're in Athens or are diligent in Atlanta, you've likely never had Tropicalia by Creature Comforts.

It's also a 98 on BA, so there's a reasonably good chance it's the best beer you've never heard of.

Not really unknown but relatively few people have heard of Anchor Steam.

Barney is another common beer for anyone who has stepped foot in South La the past 5 years.

I am very disappointed with the lack of beer knowledge in this thread.

I crushed some Barneys this weekend. Strawgators are also good when Abita strawberry is in season.

Ole Money from Lazy Magnolia. Only sold in a couple of places. One of them is the Ugly Pirate in Bay St. Louis Ms. Very good dark beer. Aged in Jack Daniel barrels

My favorite is Southern Pecan from Lazy Magnolia and Abita Turbo Dog.

If you can buy it at Albertsons, chances are someone's heard about it.

Let's be real here. For some this is the most important qualifier.....like if it's widely available it is somehow less delicious.

No, it doesn't make it better, but the board is about beers no one has heard of. Not your favorite beer.
