Beau Chene Country Club (Mandeville, Louisiana)

I will be moving to Mandeville, Louisana this June (Found out for sure today) and looking to join a golf club. Can anyone tell me their personal experiences with Beau Chene CC? How's the course? Are the members cool? Do they have a good staff? Etc. Thanks!

Where are you going to live? Money Hill is the best membership deal on the Northshore IMO.

Course is nice, very nice at times. It's an old course with old members but some younger guys. The country club itself is old but renovated bar is cool.

I've played it and hung out there.
No offense anybody, but that place is trashy. And the course sucks.

Brunch is good. Pool in the summer has some nice things going for it

Beau Chene is a nice course. At least it was a few years ago when I played it.

Course is good, don't know anything about the membership though. If there are a bunch of old money members it could be miserable.

Beau Chene is a very nice course. The clubhouse is very old so it may not appear "nice" given that it is old architecture. Money Hill is nicer, but entirely too far away if you will be living in Mandeville
