You misspelled bread.

This is what powers my beard, and my wife likes it too-

Is beard butter the same as beard balm?
If so, yes I've tried it.
It didn't do much for me since my beard grows wild but it smells nice.

Use it every other day - especially in the summer when the humidity poofs out my beard. This helps keep it manageable and not a poofy mess. Love it.

Tell me about it, stud!

Used to use it daily or every other day when I had a man beard. It's pretty awesome. Prevents dandruff, smells nice, makes it look more professional and less homeless (assuming you trim it decently).

Balm, butter, tomato, potato.
I need to try some balm.

It's the same stuff, Maestro's sells their butter at Target for $15 I think. Good stuff. I just prefer the scent of GBS.

I've never used any of that pansy stuff.

I like Honest Amish. It really brings out the red/auburn in my beard when I'm out in the sun, and the smell is really nice.

I use African Black Rock. I like that I it goes on clear and I can see how to line up my beard better.

It's code word for semen.

I've used it, I like it better than oil because it helps style the beard, as well as soften and moisturize. Whereas oil only does the latter.
And "goodness" depends on brand, and beard. Everyone's beard is different and requires different degrees of mane control. Go order samples from several different makers, and go with the one you like best.

Grats on having a beard suitable for making wire wheels.

I use a shave butter as a lube between my face and blade. Apply thin layer of shave butter and then apply shave cream. Shave as usual

Doesn't bother MrsWafer (no pics) or the baby. Maybe mine is naturally soft?

Seconding the Honest Amish vote. I've had a beard (in various iterations) for the past 10 years and the best product I've used is the Honest Amish beard balm. The routine is an Aveda shampoo followed by Zeus beard conditioner, 5 drops of Bearded Bastard beard oil, and then the Honest Amish balm for good control and a nice shine. Keeps the beard looking good.
